Cotton fabrics are soft, very comfortable and have excellent absorbent quality. It is a strong and durable fabric that can last for years. Cotton, however, wrinkles easily but with the current manufacturing practice, most garments made from cotton have been treated with wrinkle resistant finishes and blended with other fibers to reduce the need to iron cotton clothing. With its versatility and quality, cotton fabrics have been used extensively. Cotton fabrics have found their uses in garment/apparel manufacturing, home furnishings, production of medical and surgical supplies and creation of accessories such as handbags and luggage.
Caring for Cotton Fabrics
Cotton fabrics can be washed and dried easily. You can use any good quality detergent and bleach (color safe bleach is required for dyed fabrics). Wrinkles may be removed with a hot iron and adding a spray of starch would help revive is crispness.
